Again we travelled to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, this time in the early hours of the morning. What a difference going that time of day - not much traffic and parking was perfect. MRI showed some irritation under the knee cap - which we already knew - but nothing else. No damage to anything "mechanical" (ligament, cartilage, meniscus,etc.). SO, Dr. Alexander cleared Tim to return to his mission. Phone calls were made and here is what is happening: Tim has to walk 4 to 5 miles a day for two weeks to see how his knee holds up. He will also continue to work on keeping the missionary schedule. Letters from doctor, Tim and the Stake President will be written and then the Missionary Department will make the decision when Tim will be able to return to Tennesse to complete his mission. So we will be whistling while we walk :-) and grateful for our many blessings.
